Dove Hospice Meadowbank: boutique finds inside the shopping centre

Inside Meadowbank Shopping Centre on St Johns Road, the Dove Hospice shop leans noticeably more boutique than most op shops — the focus here is on recycled, boutique-styled gifts, homeware and fashion rather than a general jumble-sale mix. For shoppers hunting a specific look or a decorating piece rather than just "whatever turns up," that curation is a real point of difference.

It's also the shop with the most generous hours in the whole Dove Hospice network: open until 5:30pm on weekdays and 5pm on Saturdays, plus a 10am start on Sundays — genuinely useful for anyone who can only get there after work.

Worth being upfront about: feedback on pricing here is mixed. Some shoppers have found it pricier than other Dove locations for comparable items, while others have had great luck finding well-priced clothing, artwork, kids' games and kitchenware they hadn't found elsewhere.
