New 2 U Op Shop: 25 years of low prices in Mt Roskill

New 2 U is tucked down the driveway beside Mt Roskill Baptist Church on Richardson Road, next to the kindergarten, with plenty of parking around the back — easy to miss from the street but well known locally.

The shop has proudly served the Mount Roskill community for more than 25 years, run mostly by volunteers with a part-time paid manager. Its stock is genuinely eclectic — clothing, shoes and jewellery through to books and homeware — and prices are kept low on purpose, since the shop's stated reason for being is supporting the neighbourhood and helping families make ends meet, not maximising profit.
