Savemart Manurewa: a big, well-sorted secondhand warehouse in Wiri

On Roscommon Road in Wiri, this Savemart is one of the bigger stores in the South Auckland chain, with racks of secondhand clothing and accessories sorted by garment type and colour across a genuinely large floor.

Reviews lean positive and, in places, enthusiastic — one shopper called it "the best of all of the SaveMart stores," praising excellent customer service and a consistently tidy, well-stocked floor. Others are less convinced, noting prices have climbed to where secondhand items can cost close to buying new, and that parking around the store can be difficult with the surrounding retail area looking a bit tired.

Savemart itself is a New Zealand-owned secondhand clothing retailer rather than a charity, though it supports causes including the Child Cancer Foundation.

Note that changing rooms are sometimes closed and the store is card-only at times, so it's worth checking sizing carefully before you commit to a purchase.
