Manly is a small beachside village on the Hibiscus Coast, and The Hope Shop on Rawhiti Road is a fixture of its compact shopping strip, selling clothing, shoes, accessories and books.
It's run in support of Youth in Transition, and the trust doesn't just take the shop's proceeds — it uses the shop itself as a training ground, giving young people practical work experience and interview-ready clothing, alongside the free counselling services it runs to help prevent youth suicide on the coast.
Online reviews are limited in number but positive where they exist, with shoppers describing friendly staff and good prices for the quality on offer. It's the kind of shop that hasn't built up a big review footprint, more because it's a small local operation than for any other reason.
It's open 10am to 4pm, Monday to Saturday, closed Sunday, at 54 Rawhiti Road.
