Glen Eden's retail strip around West Coast Road has had a Hospice West Auckland shop since 2017, and it's grown since — an early-2022 expansion made room for larger furniture and commercial-scale pieces alongside the usual clothing and bric-a-brac.
Every sale funds Hospice West Auckland's palliative care services, one of a string of Hospice shops the organisation runs across the west, from Henderson to Helensville.
Reviews are limited in volume but sit around a solid rating online, and locals note it's worth checking for jewellery, designer clothing and the odd collectable mixed in with the everyday stock.
It's open every day, 9am to 5pm, on the corner of West Coast and Captain Scott Roads — easy to fold into a wider West Coast Road shopping trip.
