Henderson's Hospice West Auckland shop on Swanson Road is one of the network's bigger stores, with a wide spread of clothing, furniture and household goods across the floor.
Proceeds go to Hospice West Auckland's palliative care work, funding it alongside sister shops in Glen Eden, Massey, New Lynn, Helensville and Te Atatu Peninsula.
Reviews are mostly positive — shoppers describe generous stock and friendly, welcoming staff — but it's worth noting some reviewers have pushed back on pricing for larger items, citing a jacket priced over $100 and an older cordless drill going for $50; one shopper said a TV cabinet was marked down from $580 to $320 after raising the issue. Worth going in prepared to negotiate on the bigger-ticket items rather than assuming everything will be op-shop cheap.
